Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez spoke briefly ahead of kick-off against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday and insists he’s looking forward to next season.
There is intense speculation surrounding Xavi’s future at Barca currently, with reports claiming Joan Laporta is eager to fire the former midfielder.
Xavi spoke to DAZN at Montjuic and insists he’s not feeling worried about his future.
“I’m fine. I sleep peacefully,” he said. “This year things have not gone the way we want. I’m looking forward to starting next season.
“I’m still working. Unfortunately they haven’t told me anything. We’ve never beaten Rayo, which tells us how difficult the rival is.
